The diagnostic of intraosseous ganglion

Abstract:Objective To approach the distinctive features of the clinical, the image and the pathology analysis of intraosseous ganglion. Methods The clinical and imaging features of 20 cases of intraosseous ganglion which had been confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed, and relevant documents were reviewed. Results 18 of the 20 cases are simple joint arthropathy, 2cases are polyarthropathy, every joint could fall ill, knee and hip are predilection site. Lesions have regulation borderline and are capsular, 0.3cm-3.0cm in size, smooth, some cases show slit-shaped under articular facet. Conclusion There are special parts to fall ill in intraosseous ganglion. It may have proactive significance to the early clinical diagnosis and therapy that increasing awareness of the disease by possessing the clinical and imaging characteristics.
