Situations of soil nutrients of the main suburb vegetable fields of Foshan and countermeasures against soil acidification
Abstract：In this paper, we investigated and analyzed the situations of the soil nutrients of the suburb vegetable fields of Foshan. We found that the acidification of the vegetable fields was quite serious. The contents of alkali dispelled nitrogen, available phosphorus and potassium were at a high level while those of organic matter were low. We suggested to control the use of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and increase the use of organic fertilizer as well as alkaIine matter such as lime and ash of shell to control soil acidification.
