A comparative study of substances in plant used to make cosmetics
Abstract：In this paper,we used different methods to determine,analyze,compare and research the seven kinds of ingredients contained in cactus and aloe and found that cactus abnormal stem is rich in kinds of substances and the protein of the stem meat is quite low;lots of active substances collectively exist in aloe leaf;both cactus and aloe are tender stems and their leaves are rich in kinds of substance;SOD activity,protein,chlorophyll,soluble sugar and total sugar exist in the epidermis of edible cactus;VC and reducing sugar content are commonly found in the mesophyll of edible aloe and cactus and aloe are both excellent resources of cosmetics and anti-oxidant plants.
