Laparoscopic appendectomy for acute appendicitis with abdominal cocoon
Abstract：Objective To investigate the feasibility of laparoscopic appendectomy for acute appendicitis with abdominal cocoon.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical dates of 3 patients with acute appendicitis and abdominal cocoon undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy.Results Three patients received a successful laparoscopic appendectomy operation with none transferred to open surgery or suffering from hemorrhage,fecal fistula or intestinal injury.Conclusion ：Laparoscopic appendectomy for acute appendicitis with abdominal cocoon is feasible and effective.
