Wavelet-based density estimation and its application to fault diagnosis
Abstract：An application of wavelets and mu ltiresolution analysis (MRA) to desity estimation and fault diagnosis is discussed. Wavelet-Based density estimation can provide continous result and it is superior to other techniques in many respects. This article specifies how to choose some of the key parameters of the algorithm. The method is then applied to device fault diagnosis.
