Abstract：The proposition of Xi Jinping's cultural thought has endowed themed publishing with new missions and directions.This article elucidates the mission and responsibility of themed publishing under the guidance of Xi Jinping's cultural thought in the construction of socialist ideology,the consolidation of social consensus,and the establishment of Chinese discourse and narrative systems.It argues that themed publishing should prioritize the fundamental task of building a socialist ideology with strong guiding power,engage in positive publicity to widely consolidate social consensus,and aim to effectively narrate China's stories while enhancing international discourse power.By doing so,themed publishing will provide more robust cultural support for fostering cultural confidence and self-reliance,advancing the development of a culturally strong nation,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
