Analysis of Lenin's thoughts on cultural construction in his later years

Abstract：Lenin's exploration of the construction of socialist culture in his later years was an important part of his system of thought.In the face of the complex situation at home and abroad after 1921,Lenin deeply recognized the fundamental constraints of cultural backwardness on the development of the country,and thus rethought the road of socialist construction.Based on the international environment and the difficulties of socialist construction at home,Lenin proposed to shift the focus of work to socialist culture construction.He systematically analyzed the ways and cores of socialist culture construction,including that it should strengthen the guarantee of education,push forward the reform of state institutions,strengthen the Party's leadership over cultural construction,improve the cultural quality of communist and cadres,push forward the construction of cultural construction in rural areas to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,inherit the cultural heritage in a dialectical way,and critically absorb achievements of capitalist civilization,and the focus should be on cultural construction in rural areas.These ideas not only provided theoretical guidance for his own country to get rid of its cultural predicament and consolidate its socialist regime,but also revealed the fundamental role of cultural construction in the socialist construction of backward countries.Lenin's cultural thoughts in his later years are both historically groundbreaking and realistically revelatory,and are still of great value to the construction of socialist culture.
