The mechanism and pathways of digital-intelligent transformation in promoting the global competitiveness of Foshan manufacturing industry

Abstract：Foshan's manufacturing industry has achieved significant progress in quality improvement,cost reduction,efficiency enhancement,green production,and industrial cluster digitalization through digital-intelligent transformation,laying a solid foundation for global upgrading.However,challenges such as the difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)in digital-intelligent transformation,the lag in modern management models,and insufficient regional cooperation continue to hinder the globalization process of its manufacturing industry.To address these challenges,it is necessary to use digital-intelligence transformation as a new engine to systematically enhance the global competitiveness of Foshan's manufacturing industry.Specifically,it can start from the following three aspects:firstly,optimizing resource allocation as a lever,breaking through the bottleneck of enterprise transformation,and strengthening regional coordinated development.Secondly,guided by cost reduction and efficiency improvement,it will promote the upgrading of management models towards digitization and intelligence.Thirdly,with the core of enhancing the efficiency of value creation,it should build a new pattern of coordinated development between digitalization and greening.
