A study on the mediating effect of undergraduate mentorship on academic emotions
YU Li
Abstract:The paper investigates the impact of undergraduate mentoring on positive academic emotions via the relationship between teacher-student interaction,self-control,and academic self-concept in influencing positive academic emotions. The results show that teacher-student interaction and self-control have a significant positive impact on academic emotions, and self-control has a more significant impact on academic performance.Academic self-concept plays a partial mediating role in regulating the relationship between undergraduate mentoring and academic emotions. In the future construction of undergraduate mentoring,it is expected that the intensity of teacher-student interaction can be strengthened, the content of interaction can be deepened, and more positive emotional experiences can be brought to students, thereby providing necessary support for students'positive academic emotions through mentoring.
