The New Thread on Meaning Construction of Chinese Words---Case Study of Shaoyang Dialect Culture Body Words

Abstract：The previous fruitful outcome of Shaoyang dialect culture body words is rich, but there still has space to improve. The foundation of meaning construction of those is conceptual frame, and the profiling ways are metaphor or metonymy and the results are meaning shifting or transformation. Metonymy is more applied in meaning construction than metaphor, and shifting more than transformation, while the meaning transparency of Shaoyang dialect culture body words is poor, not easy to be understood.
