A Cultural Thinking on Local Knowledge——Taking Chinese Chiropractic as an Example

Abstract：Compared with science and technology, local knowledge has always been regarded as pseudoscience by academia. That led to a misunderstanding to local culture and a lack of it. Taking China chiropractic as an example, this paper analyzes local culture knowledge from four aspects-misunderstanding to local knowledge, beliefs value, scientific rationality and ethical connotations. By comparing the local knowledge and the"axiom", exploring the real value of local knowledgeˊs existence not only can enhance the national culture's self-confidence, but also can promote the development of China chiropractic.
