Study on Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Inheritor in Foshan

Abstract：Four-level intangible cultural heritage project directory and representative inheritance list system have been established in Foshan. Those intangible cultural heritages are mainly distributed in Chancheng, Shunde and Nanhai, which are based on folk, traditional skill and arts, and are inherited by group, family and society. Those representative inheritors have epitomized the group who play crucial role in the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. By analyzing Foshan’s 40 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, we reaffirm the necessity of teaching skills and building echelon.
