Abstract：The significance of personalities on Chen Baisha is reflected on human independence, that is,“Tian Di Wo Li, Wan Hua Wo Chu”. As a subject, I (Wo) is the Noumenon. “I” is also the origins of the world. Chen advocates “Stillness”, truly an attitude of negative freedom. The essence of belief on “I” needs being understood thoroughly.
