Analysis on China’s Safeguarding Rights on South China Sea Since 1949

Abstract:Since the founding of People’s Republic of China, coastline and land frontier have been the soft spot restricting china becoming a really big power. China has been experiencing a tough fighting in rights safeguard, from orally claiming rights to substantively safeguarding. Even if China already possesses the absolute advantages in South China Sea region, it still has to face unfavorable international environment. China has put forward a slogan of Marine Power, which requires maintaining the marine rights and interests of the South China Sea, taking active measures and strong action against the strength of the surrounding countries.
