The Study on Professional Identity of Social Workers and Countermeasures in Foshan

Abstract：Professional identity of social workers is a significant pathway in the progress of vocationalization. By conducting questionnaires from 128 samples and face -to -face interview from 7 social workers, this paper describes the current situation of professional identity of Foshan social workers and analyzes the underlying causes and reasons of such situation. Then it also puts forward countermeasures for enhancing their professional identities. It is expected that this study provides reference for improving social workers’ professional identity, stabilizing the social workers’ team and pushing forward the progress of professionalization of social workers.
