Inheritance of Core Skills and Productive Protection on the Intangible Heritage of the Traditional Arts and Crafts--A Case Study on Yubingshao Winemaking Skills in Shiwan

Abstract：Inheritance and protection of core skills is the key to productively protect the intangible heritage of the traditional arts and crafts. Such core skills are historically generated under the specific natural and human environment through the links of production, sales and circulation. Facing the machinery of mass production, traditional arts and crafts should combine traditional and modern technologies to protect the integrity and authenticity of the core skills. In the fierce market competition, core skills formation and the brand value must be protected via trademark original protection and developing industry standard. In cultural marketing, with focus on the local cultural resources and cultural innovation, transformation and upgrading need to be explored through the strategies of craft inheritance, quality control, brand protection and cultural development. Shiwan Winery, as a case to analyze protection and inheritance of Yubingshao winemaking core skills, provides us the enlightenments.
