Zhonghe：the Chinese Classical Aesthetic Concept Leading to Modern

Abstract：Zhonghe is the Chinese philosophical and aesthetic concept. In the 1980s, the concept was getting more and more attention, and that was to be Confucianism. The perspective of the comparison of Chinese and Western began to appear during this period; In the 1990s, with the new perspective and methods of studies appearing, misunderstanding of the concept also rose; after the new century, the breakthrough on the depth and breadth of studies of the concept emerged. Looking back on history of studies, it is believed that the studies of the concept can be made greater breakthroughs.
