On the Cultural Similarities and Differences of“Euphemism”both in English and Chinese

Abstract：In some social background, the use of “euphemism” is a necessary and desirable way in life. In some common topics, “euphemism” in Chinese and in English expresses the same connotation. However, due to the different religious and political beliefs, traditions and custom, values and psychological factors, the application of“euphemism”could be different in the context of English and Chinese.
