Who Gets Benefit From Multimedia? --Discussing From the Cognitive Prospect
Abstract：This article discusses the effect and suitability of multimedia using in an instructional situation. The results discussed include: a. ) the technology of multimedia can provide a variety of characteristics, but the limitation of cognitive load should be considered, b. ) further studies should pay more attention to the interaction between spatial ability and visual teaching, c. ) one of the key researches in the future will focus on how to design a multimedia learning environment to meet all needs of learners with prior knowledge richness, d. ) the design of multimedia learning environment should not only concern the learning interest but also consider the internal process of motivation.
