Thought Experiment, Natural Mathematization and Origins of Science
Abstract：The issue of the origin of modern science caused widely attention and discussion among many scholars, but it is still difficult to reach an achievement. Different views have certain elements of truth, and the formation of differences mainly come from different perspectives. This paper attempts to cut in from the scientific method, analyzes the process of the mathematization and reveals the important role of scientific experiment, especially discussing Galileo's thought experiment in the history of science. The theories-dominated scientific viewpoints always ignore the importance of scientific experiments, however, the truth is that scientific experiments plays an irreplaceable role in the process of scientific discovery. We should pay more attention to the scientific experiment research to promote the development of science.
