Status and Prospect of Book Purchase in University Library of Humanities ---A Case of Book Purchase in Library of Wuhan University
Abstract：Reference room in the university library of humanities is a key component in the university li- brary documentation systems. The direction of book purchase in reference room is closely related to the teaching and research needs required by the relevant faculty. By analyzing the practice of book purchase by History School of Wuhan University, this article points out that the features of book purchase should have professional direction, library features display and expert selecting books. The future direction of development will focus on student＇s participation in book selection and library consortium construction.
