Language and Culture Studies on Buyi' s Jishan Section of "The Scriptures of Mo"
Abstract:Jishan Section of "The Scriptures of Mo", lieved that the specific ethnic groups of human being Buyi' s traditionally religious classic scriptures, be- and "Dragon Roots" were the descendants of "Yanzi King" having been inspired by the "King of the Gods", while "Yanzi King" was the ancestor of ancient China's Sino-Tibetan Language Groups such as Yue People (Zhuangtai Ethnic Language Branch), Han Ethnic and Miao Ethnic. At that time, "the bird of swallow" was regarded as Totem by the society, and that was why it was called as "Yanzi (swallow) King". It was closely related with Jishan and sacrificial rituals. "Yan" bird, also known as "black bird", "bird" and "Phoenix", was one of the cultural symbols in China~s Sino-Tibetan Language groups.
