Liang Shiyi and the Qing Emperor＇s Abdication
Abstract：From Qin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty,the turnovers of these feudal dynasties were all full of crazy killings,tremendous damages and severe social unrests.It was only Qing Dynasty that it abdicated its power and left China＇s historical arena in a peaceful way.The Royals issued the imperial edict,and handed over the integrated domains,armies and the stable local powers to revolutionaries.In the 1911 Revolution period,Liang Shiyi,a wise intellectual in Foshan,was actively involved in the Qing emperor＇s abdication,the north-south peace talks,and the foundation of The Republic of China.Because of his tremendous courage,wisdom and hard work,he played a very important and irreplaceable role.Therefore,Liang Shiyi＇s outstanding performance in this historical period needs to be explored,affirmed and respected.
