On the ＂Gray Hair＂ Complex of Some Poets in the Tang Dynasty and Its Origin
Abstract：As a form of literature of the Tang Dynasty, Tang poems occupies the main role. However, the verbal ＂gray hair＂ appears in many poems very often. As an image, ＂gray hair＂ plays an important role when poets want to represent their sadness, depression, homesickness, death before the fulfillment of their ambition, ＂a beauty in her old age＂ or other feelings. Several factors cause the ＂hair graying＂ complex, such as the scientific basis, cultural transmission and influence of poets＇ living condition.
