Abstract:In order to screen the early-maturing cauliflower(Brassica oleracea var.botrytis)hybrids with excellent and high yield, the botanical traits, commercial characteristics and yield performance of 32 early-maturing cauliflower combinations were comprehensively evaluated. The results showed that SHZ23-28,SHZ23-19 and SHZ23-27 exhibited outstanding yield performance, reaching 46 177.78 kg·hm-2,43 600.00 kg·hm-2 and 42 288.89 kg·hm-2,respectively,which were 35.3%,27.7%and 23.9%higher than that of the control cultivar Qingnong 65(CK).Among them,SHZ23-28 performed excellently in terms of high yield potential, marketability and adaptability. This hybrid cultivar could be harvested approximately 65 days after being planted in autumn. It had strong growth vigor and a relatively erect plant type, with dark green leaves covered in waxy bloom. The curds were high-round,fine-grained and milky white, featuring a semi-loose texture. The pedicels was light green, with the average weight of the single curd being around 1.4 kg.
