Effect of Nitrogen Application Rate on Seed Storability of Fuxiangzhan and Its High-yield Cultivation Techniques

Abstract：Fuxiangzhan was a conventional fragrant rice variety with seed storability,adverse resistance,high quality and strong fragrance,which was bred by Rice Research Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences with Yuejingsimiao No.2,which was resistant to storage and disease,as the female parent,and H603,which had high quality,long grain and fragrance,as the male parent.In this paper,the seed storability of Fuxiangzhan under different nitrogen fertilizer levels was discussed.The results showed that when the nitrogen application rate was 103.5 kg·hm-2,the seed storability of Fuxiangzhan was the best.In 2024,Fuxiangzhan achieved a good yield of 10.71 t·hm-2 per unit area in the 100 mu demonstration field area of Xinluo District,Longyan City,Fujian Province,creating the highest yield record of Fuxiangzhan in the 100 mu demonstration field area.Fuxiangzhan showed excellent performance in the effective panicle number,seed set propagation coefficient and grain number per panicle,and the high-yield potential of the high-quality varieties was brought into play.At the same time,the high-yield cultivation techniques and measures for Fuxiangzhan planted in the 100 mu demonstration field area of Longyan City,Fujian Province were expounded.
