A preliminary report on screening out ratooning rice varieties

Abstract：A comparison test of six ratooning rice varieties, which planted in Yongding District, Longyan City in recent years, was carried out in large plots.Via through a comprehensive analysis on growth period, economic characters, yield, resistance and percentage of ear-bearing tiller of all test varieties, "Jiayou 99", "Liangyou 616" and "Taifengyou 656" were screened as ratooning rice that suitable to be popularized in local areas.
