Seed reserving technology for carrot mother plant

Abstract：In order to study the seed reserving technology for carrot mother plant,the technical practices,such as root cut-ting,wound treatment by chemicals after cutting,were probed. The results showed that the best way was:to cut the bottom side of fleshy root by 2 cm firstly,keep it at shady and cool place for 2 days to make the wound healing,and then soak the treated roots with 800 time solution of 50% Ruanfuling powder for 1 h before planting.
