Abstract：In this study,we introduced the characteristics of a new Chinese yam Variety Masha yam No. 1,and summarized the cultiVation techniques,including the sowing and seedling culture,transplanting and field planting,field management, pests and diseases control,as well as harVest and storage,etc.
