A propagation trial of Ulmus parvifolia jacq using woodened branch cuttings

Abstract：A propagation trial of Ulmus parvifolia jacq using woodened branch cuttings at different branch sections and in va-rious substrates was carried out. The result showed that among the 4 given substrates,the rooting rate in the substrate with yellow soil was the highest,reached 81. 67%;different branch sections of woodened branch cuttings have significant effect on rooting rate,low part of branches was the best,the rooting rate was up to 83. 33%.
