Trial on trapping effect of the Diaphorina citri trappers

Abstract：Effects of controlling pests of Diaphorina citri by the yellow plate pheromone trappers with different hanging heights and positions were comparatively studied. The results showed that the most amount of Diaphorina citri was trapped when trapper hanged at the middle of the canopy( 1. 5 m high),followed by hanged at the lower of the canopy(0. 8 m high),and the worst effect at the upper of the canopy(2. 0 m high). Among different positions,the best trapping effect was achieved when hanged at the north of the canopy,then the west and south,and the worst effect at the east of the canopy.
