Preliminary report on comparative experiments of new bottlegourd combination
Abstract：Comparison tests including agronomic traits,yields and disease resistance among five new bottlegourd combinations were conducted using local main cultivar as control.The results showed that bottlegourd combination No.3 displayed the traits of vigorous growth,high yield,strong disease resistance.They were green rind and long cylindrical shape with 360cm in length and 232cm in diameter.The yield increased by 144% to compare with the control.It was suitable to plant in fuzhou and its surrounding areas.
