High-yielding cultivation technique of mid-season hybrid rice ＂Fengyou 22＂
Abstract：Fengyou 22,a new mid-season indica hybrid rice combination,was introduced to Dehua county in 2007.The results of multi-year trial experiment showed that this variety performed high-yieding and high quality,but was sensitive to rice-balst.Compared with Shanyou 63,the growth period of Fengyou 22 were lasted for 4-5 days when it was planted as mid-season rice.Concerning the cultivation technique of Fengyou 22,it should pay attention on decreasing density of seed sowing,fostering strong seedling by covering plastic film,early transplanting,fomulated fertilization,scientific water management as well as comprehensive insect and disease control.
