Studies on the breeding of the delete photosensitively genic male sterile line Minkel07S in rice
Abstract：In this study, introduced the procedure of low temperature sensitive and genic sterile line SE152S crossing with the strong combining ability and wide adaptability zhenshan97, and the generations of which composite cross with large-panicled genie sterile line S02073. To isolate and screen the sterile plants, all the generations were planted in the area with high altitude. Then these sterile lines were recurrent selected and generation- added in different place, Finally, Minkel07S was developed, and it showed stable fertility. The study showed that Minkel07S can delete photosensitively and has a good appli- cation prospect in hybrid rice combination.
