Characteristic and super-high cultivation technique for indica.japonica hybrid rice ＂Yongyoug＂
Abstract：Yongyou9, a new rice cuhivar of indica-japonica hybridization, was introduced to Minghou County in 2009 and 2010. The results of a two-year trial experiment showed that the rice performed photoperiodic-response, thick and strong stems, fertilizer-tolerance, lodging-resistance, high resistance to rice false smut and high-yielding. In order to ensure high yield, the cultivation technique of Yongyou9 should pay attention on timely planting, rational close planting, high levels of fertilization, strengthening water management and timely insect ＆ disease control.
