Regulation Mechanism of Different Plant Hormones on Grain Seed Dormancy

Abstract：Cereal crops are important food crops in the world,providing essential nutrients for human beings.The problem of pre-harvest sprouting seriously affects the processing quality and nutritional quality of grains.The problem of pre-harvest sprouting is closely related to the formation and release of seed dormancy,which are mainly regulated by abscisic acid (ABA),gibberellin(GA), jasmonic acid(JA),auxin(IAA),brassinolide(BR),ethylene(ET),cytokinin(CTK),and so on.This paper mainly expounds the effects of hormones on grain dormancy from the physiological and molecular mechanisms of plant hormones affecting seed dormancy and hormone regulation pathways,which is of great significance for improving grain yield and quality.
