Comparisons on Yield and Nutrition of Barley Grass for Different Varieties
Abstract：The comparative experiment was made for analyzing the differences of barley grass yield and its nutrition contents between 5 barley varieties which bred and just used in Fujian Province.The results indicated that the yield of grass,the contents of chlorophyll and protein,and the activity of SOD were different among the tested barley varieties,among which the grass yield,protein content and SOD activity showed obviously higher in Fudamai No.1 than in other 4 varieties,and only the chlorophyll content was lower in Fudamai No.1 than in Minmai 02.This experiment suggested that it is necessary to conduct variety screening for developing barley grass product.
