Abstract：With the development and advancement of modern science and technology,lithium primary batteries have been widely used in medical equipment,military industry,consumer electronics and other fields,resulting in a continuous increase in market demand.Their safety issues have attracted widespread attention from all sectors.The standard IEC 60086-4:2025 Primary batteries-Part 4:Safety of lithium batteries provides strict guidance and explanations for the safety testing and compliance of lithium primary batteries.This article will conduct an analysis from the aspects of the standard's drafting background,test items,test methods,and precautions during the usage process,with the aim of providing reference for the detection and safe use of lithium primary batteries.
