Analysis of the influence of overcharging on impedance using the DRT method

Abstract：In this paper,the influence of overcharge at different rates on the impedance of three-electrode Li-ion battery was studied.The impedance changes of the battery at different SOCs before and after overcharge were analyzed through the experiments of 0.2 C overcharge.The results show that the total impedance of the overcharged battery increases significantly,especially the charge transfer impedance(Rct)and the membrane impedance(Rf).Additionally overcharge can increase the peak corresponding to the membrane impedance in the DRT curve,along with changes in the composition of the membrane impedance.
