Brief analysis on the safety of primary batteries with aqueous electrolyte

Abstract：As the world's largest production base and exporter of primary batteries,China holds a significant large market share and possesses strong competitiveness internationally.Strict control over the quality of primary batteries is crucial for ensuring product circulation and usage safety.Aqueous electrolyte primary batteries have the characteristics of convenient use,high safety,low cost,and environmental friendliness.Although the preparation technology and process are becoming increasingly mature,there are still some potential safety hazards during use.Based on this,this study,in accordance with the testing standards for the safety of primary batteries with aqueous electrolyte,elaborates on the test items,test methods,and requirements for test results stipulated in the standards,sorts out the safety performance test results of common aqueous electrolyte primary batteries,summarizes the hazards caused by unreasonable operations during use,and clarifies the precautions during use.It is expected to provide a reference for the detection and safe use of aqueous electrolyte primary batteries.
