Abstract：Against the backdrop of the accelerating global green transition,sustainable development has become the core competitiveness of the battery industry.It is not only a response to policy compliance but also a key prerequisite for securing future market competitiveness.Industrial digitalization,ecological greening,intelligent operation,resource recycling,and business globalization are becoming the strategic pathways for China's lithium battery industry to maintain its leading position globally.To meet requirements of the EU Battery and Waste Battery Regulation and customer requirements,environmental,social,and corporate governance(ESG)management has become a key task for battery enterprises.As global demands for sustainable development and supply chain transparency continue to rise,the battery passport has become a crucial tool for the lithium battery industry to enhance its international competitiveness.By digitally recording key data throughout the battery's life cycle,it promotes the industry's development towards greater transparency and sustainability.
