Analysis of the development of China's waste battery recycling and utilization industry in 2024

Abstract：This article provides an overview of the demand situation in China's battery market,and analyzes the material flow in the process of battery production,sales and waste battery recycling through battery quality.We discussed the production and sales volume,import and export volume,and consumption of series of battery products such as lithium-ion batteries,lead-acid batteries,cadmium nickel batteries,hydrogen nickel batteries,zinc manganese batteries,and solar cells from 2015 to 2025.We estimated the amount of waste batteries generated and recycled.By 2024,the amount of waste batteries recycled will reach 6.83 million tons,with a recycling value of approximately 60.4 billion yuan.Compiled policies,regulations,and battery standards related to waste battery recycling and recycled materials.Provide industry information analysis for waste battery recycling enterprises and research institutions,and provide reference for business operations.
