Abstract：China's lithium battery industry,as a new quality productive force,has entered a high-quality development stage.However,the problems of battery thermal chemical toxicity safety have not been fundamentally resolved.This article elaborates on the spectrum of toxic substances from the thermal chemical leakage of lithium-ion batteries and the progress of early warning and protection technologies for highly toxic substances,aiming to draw attention from all sectors to the issue of thermal chemical toxicity of lithium-ion batteries.At the same time,from the perspective of new energy safety legislation and strengthened supervision,it discusses several feasible paths for technological breakthroughs in safety challenges.
