Research on algorithm of tab distance of prismatic battery jelly-roll

Abstract：In the production process of multipole ear coil core,the determination of the tab distance and the control of the tab alignment are the difficulty.In this paper,by studying the structure and winding method of the jelly-roll,the shape and process parameters of it is classified.The factors that affect the calculation method are determined,and on this basis,a reference form is assumed,and the algorithm is explored.Then,the multi-tab jelly-roll shape discriminant and the tab serial number discriminant are given to determine the shape of the jelly-roll.The algorithm combining the discriminant result and the benchmark form forms a general algorithm suitable for multiple forms of roll core,which solves the problem of the general algorithm for the length of the electrode segment of the jelly-roll of various shapes and tab structures,and can further use computer programming to assist the design of the jelly-roll.
