Abstract:A Hybrid Pulse Power Characterization(HPPC)experiment was performed to study the relationships between internal resistance and cell temperature, discharge current, and time of lithium ferromanganese phosphate batteries.Furthermore, the Equivalent Circuit Model(ECM)was established and the least square fitting method was used to explore the characteristics and laws of three different types of direct current internal resistance. The results show that the internal resistances of ohm.electrochemical polarization, and concentration polarization decrease when cell temperature or discharge current increases. While discharging the cell at high temperature(≥25 ℃)or under a high current ratio(>4 C),the ohmic resistance dominates;and the concentration polarization internal resistance is the major part of the direct current internal resistance at low temperature(<10 ℃)or under low current ratio(<1 C).
