Abstract:Li7La3Zr2O12(LLZO)-based composite solid electrolyte(CPE)has been identified as a strong candidate for high energy density solid-state lithium metal batteries due to its unique combination of polymer flexibility and the high ionic conductivity of LLZO.This paper aims to summarize the key issues related to LLZO-based CPE at the anode-electrolyte and cathode-electrolyte interfaces, and to review recent methods that have been developed to address the Li+transport problem at the electrode-electrolyte interface. Finally, this paper thoroughly investigates the Li+transport path in LLZO-based CPE using the latest characterization methods and research perspectives.Through a combination of theoretical and experimental studies, the Li+migration path and interfacial ion transport in LLZO-based CPE are discussed. It is expected that this in-depth study of LLZO-based CPE will provide useful guidance for the development of high energy density solid-state lithium metal batteries.
