Research on tab bending for laminated Lithium-ion battery

Abstract：The article focuses on both positive tab bending and negative tab bending.The positive tab bending has little impact on the performance of the battery,while the negative tab bending tends to cause low-voltage or firing to the battery.The article finds out how negative tab bending has caused the low-voltage to the battery.When the bending negative pole erodes and dissolves, copper precipitates from the edges among adjacent negative poles and pierces through the separa-tor causing internal short-circuit.
