The analysis of Mn in LiMn2O4cathode material by automatic potentiometric titration

Abstract：The contents of Mn in LiMn2O4cathode material were detected by automatic potentio-metric titration method with two chemical analysis methods of(NH4)2Fe(SO4)2titration and Na2EDTA titration.By contrast with the experiments,the results of the test were the same,but with the Na2EDTA titration the time of the sample processing was less,the operation was simp-ler and the reaction was more easier controlling than with the(NH4)2Fe(SO4)2titration.The rel-ative standard deviation of the Na2EDTA titration was less than 0.2%,and the recovery of Mn standard was between 98.92% ~100.5%,which met the accuracy requirement.The method of Na2EDTA titra-tion could be used to detect the contents of Mn in the LiMn 2O4cathode material production.
