Abstract：Ionic liquid is widely used in electrochemistry for its high conductivity,wide electro_chemical window,no flammability,no pollution and other excellent features.In this paper,some kinds of ionic liquid are classified,and the research progress of ionic liquid electrolyte in Li_ion batteries is summarized according to its application methods.
