Characterization of different lignins and their effects on the performance of lead-acid battery

Abstract：The influence of three kinds of lignins on the performance of lead_acid battery was stud_ied in this paper.The low_temperature discharge capacity,charge acceptance and high rate dis_charge capacity were tested,and the negative plates and three kinds of lignins were characterized by XRD,IR and optical microscopy.The results showed that the low_temperature discharge ca_pacity,charge acceptance of the batteries with different lignins were largely different,the high rate discharge capacity were almost the same,the different lignins had no effect on the phase for_mation of negative plates,but their morphology and structure were different obviously.
